Thus, INL takes over from Koninklijke Bibliotheek after 3 successful years.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The INL is a research institute financially supported by the governments of the\u00a0Netherlands and (Flemish) Belgium. Its mission is to document the vocabulary\u00a0and grammar of present-day and historical Dutch by creating, maintaining and\u00a0improving dictionaries, corpora, computational lexica, and thesauri.\u00a0The Language\u00a0Database Department major research project is the\u00a0Integrated Language\u00a0Database of the Dutch Language from the 6th{21st century.\u00a0The INL has participated in the EC funded projects PAROLE, SIMPLE, TELRI,\u00a0ENABLER, ELAN,\u00a0IMPACT, SUCCEED, Transcriptorium. The INL is a member of the clarin common\u00a0languages resource \u00a0infrastructure network. Through the HLT-Agency, INL has\u00a0ample experience in acquisition, management, and maintenance of linguistic resources\u00a0and tools, and making these available supported by a service desk.<\/p>\n<p>In the following months, the Impact Centre of Competence will launch a MOOC on digitisation and digital preservation jointly with Open Preservation Foundation (OPF), will expand its activity in Latin America and will organise a general members meeting and the second edition of the International Conference DATeCH.
