{"id":2805,"date":"2014-03-24T12:29:25","date_gmt":"2014-03-24T12:29:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digitisation.eu\/blog\/?p=1661"},"modified":"2014-03-24T12:29:25","modified_gmt":"2014-03-24T12:29:25","slug":"succeed-hackathon-at-the-university-of-alicante","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/digitisation.eu\/?p=2805","title":{"rendered":"Succeed Hackathon at the University of Alicante"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the 10th and 11th of April 2014 at the University of Alicante, the Succeed project\u00a0held a hackathon whose aim\u00a0was to look at improving the state-of-the-art open-source tools for the digitisation of textual content such as books and newspapers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/digitisation.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/2nd-Day-Hackathon_5_p.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1717\" alt=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA\" src=\"https:\/\/digitisation.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/2nd-Day-Hackathon_5_p-300x191.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"191\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Over the two days, developers worked together in small groups to discuss, roadmap and plan the future development of existing tools.
