3- 2nd edition Succeed Awards
The 2nd edition of the Succeed Awards recognised the successful evaluation and take-up of text digitisation tools implemented by the external libraries collaborating with the Succeed project. The awards were delivered during the Succeed Final Conference, that took place in the Bibliotèque national de France, in Paris, last 28th of November.
The digitization of cultural heritage is the main topic during Digitisation Days
The Succeed project and the Impact Centre of Competence co-organise the Digitisation Days, with the participation of experts all over the world and also of the Nobel Laureate Mario Vargas Llosa. International experts in digitisation will meet at the National Library of Spain next May 19th and 20th.
Open Humanities Awards
The second round of the Open Humanities Awards will run from 30 April until 30 May 2014. The Awards are cordinated by the Open Knowledge Foundation and are part of the DM2E project.
